Trzypłytowa edycja specjalna „Disintegration” została przygotowana przez samego Roberta Smitha i zawiera zremasterowaną wersję oryginalnego albumu, niepublikowane wcześniej utwory, dema oraz wersje koncertowe. „Disintegration” był ósmym studyjnym albumem The Cure, który ukazał się w 1989 roku. Z niego pochodzą największe hity The Cure jak: „Lullaby”, Fascination Street”, „Lovesong” i „Pictures Of You”, dzięki którym płyta rozeszła się w ponad 3 milinach egzemplarzy i jest – jak dotąd – najlepiej sprzedającym się wydawnictwem zespołu w ich karierze. Deluxe Edition zawiera 3 płyty. Oprócz zremasterowanego albumu „Disintegration”, płyta z 20 niepublikowanymi piosenkami: od demo wersji „Pictures Of You”, „Prayers In The Rain” i „Fascination Street”, przez wersje instrumentalne i nagrane podczas prób po niepublikowane kawałki: “Noheart”, “Esten”, “Delirious Night” i cover “Pirate Ships” Judy Collins. Trzecia płyta to rozszerzona wersja „Entreat” – albumu koncertowego nagranego w Wembley Arena w 1989 roku. Do oryginalnych ośmiu utworów dodano cztery piosenki, dzięki czemu powstała koncertowa wersja całego albumu „Disintegration”. |
