Seria zremasterowanych wznowień studyjnych albumów grupy The Beatles, która w roku 2009 ukazała się na płytach CD, cieszyła się dużą popularnością wśród fanów czwórki z Liverpoolu. W związku z ogromnym sukcesem projektu, 12 listopada 2012 r. (13 listopada w Ameryce Północnej) wznowienia albumów ukażą się również w długo oczekiwanym formacie winylowym. Wszystkie czternaście albumów wytłoczono na 180-gramowych płytach winylowych o najwyższej, audiofilskiej jakości. Nie zapomniano również o replikach oryginalnych ilustracji i grafik. Albumy zawierać będą także dołączane do oryginalnych wydawnictw dodatki: plakat do albumu The Beatles (The White Album), wycinanki towarzyszące płycie Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band czy też dodatkowe wewnętrzne okładki, w jakie wyposażonych było kilka innych albumów. Płyty dostępne będą pojedynczo oraz w wersji kolekcjonerskiej, wzbogaconej o zachwycająco elegancką, liczącą 252 strony książkę w twardej okładce oraz zapakowanej w wystawne pudełko - ta edycja ukaże się jednak wyłącznie w wersji limitowanej, liczącej zaledwie 50 000 egzemplarzy na całym świecie. Książka o wymiarach 12 x 12 cali, dostępna jedynie w limitowanej edycji kolekcjonerskiej, zawiera rozdziały poświęcone każdemu albumowi grupy z osobna, jak również historię powstawania wznowionych wersji oraz opis przygotowań do publikacji wydawnictw winylowych. Jej autorem jest Kevin Howlett, znany i nagradzany producent radiowy. W książce znajdują się również liczne fotografie dokumentujące całą karierę zespołu The Beatles, w tym również wiele zdjęć, które nie zostały wcześniej opublikowane w książeczkach do wznawianych w 2009 roku płyt CD. |
